Cannelloni al Formaggi

w/ Sotto's black kale caesar salad & Sixteen Bricks garlic bread


SERVES 4 • OVEN • 70 MINUTES


instructions

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375° & prepare to cook on the middle rack. While oven is preheating, unpack all your “mise en place” (ingredients).

  • Step 2

    Place the foil-covered pan of cannelloni on a sheet tray in the oven for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven & carefully remove the foil. Turn your oven up to 400°. Place the uncovered pan back into the oven on a sheet tray for 15-20 minutes. You know your oven best; cook times may vary, but you’re looking for the cheese to be nicely browned on top. Remove from the oven & let the pan rest for 15 minutes. It is very important to let the cannelloni rest before serving.

  • Step 3

    While the cannelloni is resting, place the foil-wrapped garlic bread on a sheet tray in the oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is warmed through. Remove from the oven & carefully remove the foil.

  • Step 4

    In a bowl, gently toss the black kale with the caesar dressing until greens are thoroughly coated. Garnish salad with breadcrumbs & parmigiano. Garnish the cannelloni with parsley & serve with sliced garlic bread & finished caesar salad.
